The Experience

An intimate 2-hour culinary journey into traditional Thai gastronomy.

Learn how to cook authentic Thai cuisine amidst the luxurious beach resort of SALA Samui. Experience preparing your choice of delectable dishes as you are guided step-by-step by your very own personal chef from SALA’s talented culinary team.

The hands-on class takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your selected dishes, after which you will sit down to enjoy the wonderful multi-course meal you prepared.

1. Soups

  • Dtom Yam Hot & sour soup with shrimp, chicken, or vegetables.
  • Dtom Kha Rich coconut & galangal soup with chicken, shrimp, or vegetables.

2. Curry

  • Gang Penang Aromatic peanut curry with shrimp, beef, or pumpkin.
  • Gang Mussaman Southern-style chicken thigh peanut curry.
  • Gang Keaw Warn Classic green curry of chicken or vegetables.

3. Salad

  • Larb Spicy minced chicken with lime and shallots, or tofu.
  • Moo Manao Tender pork slices tossed in lime, garlic, and fresh chillies.
  • Som Tam Green papaya salad with shrimp and chilli (vegetarian available).

4. Wok Fried

  • Pad Thai Stir-fried rice noodles with tofu & prawn, chicken, or vegetables.
  • Gai Pad Met Stir-fried chicken and cashew nuts (also with fish or tofu).
  • Kao Pad Fragrant fried rice with crab meat or mixed vegetables.
