The Oceana Samui premium speedboats boast a fleet of 15 types of sleek and luxurious power cruisers that are chartered privately to many surrounding island destinations in the Gulf of Thailand. As they are located in both the South-West and the North coasts of Koh Samui they are able to offer unique detailed itineraries that provide private boat charter options for everyone.
Twin Engine Speedboat
The 40ft Twin Engine speedboats depart from the North side of the island. These speedboats, at the larger end of the spectrum, are most suitable for full-day private charters focusing on adventure and fun. The Angthong National Marine Park, made up of 42 isolated islands, and Koh Tao, the ‘go to’ destination for snorkeling and diving, are the two most popular selections for these 8-hour excursions; however, there is also an abundance of recommended locations beyond these two spots with just as much natural beauty, minus the crowds.
Single Engine Speedboat
The 30ft single-engine speedboats are ideal for couples and small families in search of affordable Half- Day Island hopping excursions that explore the deserted islands of the South- West. These Private charters include fishing, snorkeling, island hopping, beach picnics, and even dolphin spotting.
Capacity: 18 persons max (twin-engine), 10 persons max (single engine)

DISCLAIMER: The activities, services, and itineraries listed in this kit are SAMPLES.
They are subject to availability and not necessarily included in the charter package.
All itineraries are dependent on the boat and the port where it’s located.

The first location we visit is the North of the Park at Koh Wao, which consists of three islands with a sheltered bay in between, making it well-suited for snorkeling. The Guides will navigate you through shallow caves and introduce you to an abundance of Marine Life. After snorkeling, the speedboat will take you nearby the most interesting limestone islands for a slow-paced coastal cruise. Caves, hidden lagoons, and white sand beaches are there to be explored.
At the following stop, you will land at Talay Nai for a short but spectacular climb through dense rainforest and narrow ravines that lead to a fantastic viewpoint that looks out over the surrounding islands. Here, you will have some time to enjoy the view and take some breathtaking pictures. A short stroll downhill will take you to the famous Emerald Lake, also known as the Blue Lagoon from the movie ‘The Beach.’
From here, almost all Angthong Marine Park tour operators go to Wua Ta Lap Island (the Park’s Visitor (enter) for picnic lunch and kayaking. The visitor center is visited by many tour operators, making it very crowded. We chose instead to travel a bit farther to eat lunch and do sea kayaking at Koh Paluay’s sea gypsy village.
On Koh Paluay, you will have a freshly cooked buffet lunch at the traditional Thai fisherman’s village restaurant. After lunch, the speedboat will take you to the final stop at the south of the island, the secluded Song Pee Nong beach. Here, you will be able to take a leisurely tour at your own pace along the coastline by sea kayak past breathtaking cliffs or relax, sunbath, and swim at this amazing beach.
Koh Phangan is the largest of Samui’s neighboring islands, with an area of 168 sq km. The island has numerous heavenly white sand beaches and secluded bays all along its coastline, some of them reachable only by a boat cruise. Over three-quarters of the island is mountainous tropical forest. Much of the island is classified as a “National Park” by Thailand’s government, allowing the island to keep its natural and untamed character. Nearby Koh Ma has the best Koh Phangan-area snorkeling.
Here, you can jump into the water and enjoy the amazing soft coral and multi-colored fish in the warm water. The professional guide will assist first-time snorkelers and gladly point out the best places to spot marine life. The next stop is at “Tong Nai Pan,” where you’ll have plenty of time available to swim and explore the shore at this beautiful beach.
After enjoying the double bays, we continue on to the south of Koh Phangan to Than Sadet Bay, where you can visit the lovely waterfall. After a short climb onto some big rocks, you can jump into the freshwater pool at the base of the waterfall and then dry off lazily on the huge granite rocks. The river and waterfalls, once visited by Royal Majesties King Rama V, VII, and IX, have their initials carved into the huge granite rocks that grace this river. This has become one of the most tranquil and popular places on the island to visit and relax. Our last stop is at Haad Rinn Beach, long world-famous for its monthly Full Moon Party, held on each full moon.

Ko Tao is also known as the turtle island as its shape resembles one. Ko Tao’s little sister island, Ko Nangyuan, is a private island that consists of three smaller islands connected together by a beautiful sandbank. Together, these locations form three bays with crystal-clear water and no current, white sandy beaches, a variety of colorful fish, and fascinating coral reefs that offer optimal conditions for snorkeling.
Exclusive to Oceana Samui, their speedboat charter offers a slightly altered schedule, which arrives at Koh Nangyuan in the morning in order to avoid the large groups of tourists who arrive in the early afternoon. You will have about 2 hours to explore Nangyuan above and below the water. Climbing to the hills for spectacular views, snorkel the world-famous marine locations, all within a 5-minute walk, such as the “Japanese Gardens,” “Twins” and the “Koh Nangyuan Pinnacle.”
The snorkeling sites are clearly marked and closed off for all boats, so you can completely engulf yourself in the snorkeling experience without worry in the world. After lunch, we will visit Koh Tao’s snorkeling site at Mango Bay, one of the less known and well-preserved snorkeling spots that Ko Tao can offer, and then venture back to Koh Samui at approx. 3 pm.
These are two small neighboring islands that are located approximately five kilometers west of Koh Samui’s quiet Southern fishing bays. Koh Tan, or “Coral Island,” is a primitive island with a small pristine village. The island is surrounded by coral reefs along the white sandy beaches that both snorkelers and sunbathing lovers can join together. This is a perfect place to visit as an alternative to a full-day trip as it is so close to Samui but offers all the same exciting activities as many of the other destinations located hours away.
Opposing Koh Tan is Koh Matsum, a very remote island with a lavish palm tree-lined beachfront. There is no infrastructure here, so you are truly immersed in an island lifestyle-type culture for the brief amount of time we spend exploring the island. For those who want to discover real island beauty away from the crowds or simply relax in the shallow, warm waters of a quiet, natural beachfront location, this is the place to do it.
