The most popular summer adventure in Niseko, thrill-seekers can enjoy rafting in one of Japan’s clearest rivers – Shiribetsu River.
White water rapids, somersaults into the river, and lots of splashing action! Summer rafting on the Shiribetsu River is a great fun day for everyone from Primary school kids to the Silver generation. The summer course has 7 km of white water action, as well as quiet areas where the water pools are perfect for swimming.
No need for drysuits in summer; just come in shorts and T-shirts and be ready to get wet. Wave splash, paddle splash, river swims, and, of course, big river jumps. There are plenty of opportunities to get wet! Along the way, there is time for a breather and to enjoy great views of Mt. Yotei, as the course actually wraps around this iconic mountain.
