Snowshoeing is an activity for anyone to enjoy the pristine nature and surroundings as it allows a slower pace to immerse one self within a serene and still winter wonderland. Advanced reservation is not allowed.

Tour Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Rates: ¥5,000 per person (1-hour tour)

Inclusions: Snowshoes, snow boots, pole rental fee

  • Also available until 3:30 PM only by reservation.
  • Tour inclusive of snowshoes, snow boots, and poles for tour duration only.
  • A minimum of 2 persons for the tour to operate.
  • Those who wish to book for 1 person, the payment will be ¥10,000 (2 persons’ fee)
  • Guests must be 6 years old and above to participate.
  • Please visit the Lion Adventure counter for reservations.
  • Methods of payment are cash and credit card only.

Details

Capacity and Policies:

  • It is not a chartered tour. You will join the tour with other customers.
  • Reservation is only complete after payment is received at the reception counter. Reservation will be closed when it reaches its capacity.
  • You will not be allowed to participate if you are intoxicated or pregnant.
  • We will inform you of the meeting point for the tour at the counter. Please be ready and in proper winter clothing. Use the bathroom if required prior to the meet-up.
  • All participants must be at the meeting point within the opening hours (2 minutes on foot from the counter). If you are unable to be at the meeting point within the opening hours, it will be treated as canceled and it is not refundable.
  • Please give the staff your ticket to the meeting point to confirm your participation. The staff will explain and guide you to put on the necessary gear.

Snowshoe Tour at NAC

Starting at the foot of Mt. Yotei lies the most famous river in Niseko – “Hangetsu-ko” or the “Shiribetsu-gawa”, we hike through the snowy forest and make our way down to the frozen Half-Moon Lake where we can relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful view.

PRIVATE TOUR (3 hours)

Start Times: 9:00-12:00 or 13:30-16:30

Guests: 1-6 guests (maximum of 12 with prior confirmation from management)

Rate: 45,000 JPY for 1-6 guests

Meeting / Finishing Place: NAC or your accommodation

Age Requirement: 6 years and older

Pick-up and drop-off service
Snowshoes and boots (sizes 22-28 cm)
Tea and snack

We require advance information on shoe sizes and any food allergies.

For those looking to glide rather than walk, cross-country skiing offers a scenic and enjoyable way to travel through snowy terrain.

Cross-Country Ski Tours at NAC

Cross-country skis are lightweight and designed for gliding across snowy landscapes with ease. Used as a means of travel by some and enjoyed as a sport by others, cross-country skiing offers a unique way to explore winter terrain. Our guided tours take you through the Kutchan cross-country ski trails, where you’ll learn the basics and experience the enjoyment of this classic winter activity.

These tours are family-friendly and suitable for all ages.

GROUP TOUR (3 hours)

Start Time: 9:00AM-01:30PM

Guests: Up to 6 guests

Regular Season Rate: 50,000 JPY

Peak Season Rate: 55,000 JPY

Off-Season Rate: 40,000 JPY

Inclusions:

  • Complimentary pick-up and drop-off service available from/to Skye Niseko (please wait in the hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to the tour start time)
  • Cross-country equipment
  • Tea and Snack
  • Shoe sizes ranging from 20 to 29 cm are provided
