Weather:
Cape Yamu enjoys ideal weather conditions for most of the year. Outdoor weddings and al fresco celebrations are best held during the drier months, which is from December to March. If your wedding is during the rainy season, venues for indoor ceremonies and receptions that are just as beautiful are also available.

Music Curfew:

• After 12 midnight, all music must be turned off.
• To ensure that your neighbors are not disturbed by loud music or excessive noise, the estate does not allow DJs, live bands, and huge sound system set-ups inside the villas within their property.
• Guests of our villas in Yamu can enjoy playing music through our in-villa sound system.
  The Estate Manager has the right to demand guests to lower the volume, turn off their music, and switch off the power in case of non-compliance.
• Playing music using outdoor speakers should be kept at a minimum volume level.

Regulations & Restrictions:

• Our villa’s furniture and furnishings must stay in place. Guests are not allowed to move any piece of furniture and transfer it to another place. Adding furniture or infrastructure inside the villa is also prohibited.
• Light and fire shows, including but not limited to fireworks, candles, and lanterns, are strictly prohibited.
• Pets and other animals are also not allowed inside the villa.  Weddings, parties, and filming are not allowed inside the villas within The Cape Residences.
• Holding intimate ceremonies at the villa’s pool area requires prior approval.
• Estate Officers are required to be present from event preparations to egress period. Sub-contractors will only be allowed on site if an officer is present.
• Estate Officers, together with the villa staff, have the right to establish additional security procedures and regulations prior to the event. A list of suppliers and subcontractors is also required to arrange their access to the villa or the event venue.

Parking:
Outside parking for event guests is available next to the wedding chapel. Additional parking in the estate may be arranged by advance request.

• Additional restrictions and blackout dates apply.
• 50 percent of the total wedding costs of all services and accommodation is required upon signing the contract, and a 100 percent payment is required 90 days prior to the wedding.
• A 50 percent cancellation fee will apply if cancellation occurs 120 days prior to the wedding, and a 100 percent cancellation fee applies if a cancellation is made 90 days prior to the wedding.
• Flower arrangements are subject to seasonality.
• The location of the wedding will be subject to prevailing weather conditions on the day. An alternative indoor venue with a sea view is available in case of rain.
• The following information is provided as a guideline for the legal procedure in Thailand, and it may be changed by the Thai Government without prior notice. To ensure you obtain the most current information, we recommend contacting the Thai Embassy in your home country.
• The following instructions are procedures to follow for having your wedding validated by the authorities in Thailand and recognized abroad:

1. Issue the certificate letter for the bride and groom from the respective embassy of your home country in Thailand (must be in English)
2. The certificate letter of the bride and groom issued in the English language by the embassies has to be translated into Thai by any law office in Bangkok
3. The original documents from points one and two must be validated and stamped (on every page) by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok. Please note: The valid passports of both husband and wife must be shown for steps one, two, and three. To complete the process, please allow three working days in Bangkok. It is strongly recommended to make appointments with the authorities in order to have the documents issued on time.
4. Once you have arrived in Phuket, the documents will be given to Phuket City Hall prior to the wedding for issuing the wedding certificate (in Thai). The bride and groom have the option to go to Phuket City Hall to sign the official documents or ask the authorities to come to the hotel to sign the documents after the wedding ceremony. This will be handled by COMO Point Yamu and is subject to a fee.

Please note that the hotel is not responsible for completing steps one to three. The bride and groom are solely responsible for organizing the documents. This process is not required if the bride and groom do not need a legal paper certifying their marriage in Thailand.
